Google Barcode logo October 7th

Should barcodes be celebrated 57 years after their invention? 57 years is too random, too "left field" (read "sinister") for my taste (I say that because I am largely, left handed)

This barcode is the code of a soldier in Iraq. This picture is in honour of his fallen comrades. Read more here Click

When I give talks about Mood and Food, I use this photo to get across the message "Eat nothing with a barcode" - In other words eat natural organic food because your body needs good food. Don't eat factory produced rubbish and of course, don't eat people.

I said earlier I would rather live in Googles world but perhaps not. I do not want to live in a place where every leaf, every twig and every person has a barcode, and consequently a price. I want my world to be free.

As my grandmother said, "Be careful what you wish for, because surely you will get it"

I think a bar code as a tattoo is pretty cool - I like it.
