
Should barcodes be celebrated 57 years after their invention? 57 years is too random, too "left field" (read "sinister") for my taste (I say that because I am largely, left handed)

When I give talks about Mood and Food, I use this photo to get across the message "Eat nothing with a barcode" - In other words eat natural organic food because your body needs good food. Don't eat factory produced rubbish and of course, don't eat people.
I said earlier I would rather live in Googles world but perhaps not. I do not want to live in a place where every leaf, every twig and every person has a barcode, and consequently a price. I want my world to be free.
As my grandmother said, "Be careful what you wish for, because surely you will get it"
