Ten Great Health Tips

1 - Make your health important

Some people still believe that it doesn't matter how you treat your body, you can still enjoy great health - sorry guys, not true and even less true as you get older. The first step to improving your health is to realise how important your health is, and put it first.

For example, after work you might have a choice a) "Do I get drunk with a TV dinner watching my favorite show?" or b) "Do I go to the gym and eat one of their salads?" If your health is your priority most of the time you will choose b) but if you only want to do things that are easy and convenient, you choose a).

2 - Know you can do it

Few people want to commit themselves to something they know they can't do. Quite rightly, there is no point in setting yourself up to fail. The second step in becoming healthier, is to commit yourself to something you know you can do and can keep doing. Once you have one good habit you can add in a second and so on. Start with something you know can do regularly and remember to do it. For example, if you have never even run for a bus, commiting yourself to a daily gym routine won't work, at least not for more than a couple of days.

Find something you know you can do, and would enjoy doing, do it and keep reminding yourself to do it.

Without the confidence
